Spring Barbeque

Thanks to all that came along to the BBQ on the 12th. We estimate that about 300-400 people were there. We received 193 comments back.

So, onto the results.

We asked people to rate their experience of local health care. 185 people (95.8% of the sample) ticked either “Good”, “Ok”, or “Poor”

  • Good: 122 responses (65.9%)
  • Ok: 38 responses (20.5%)
  • Poor: 25 responses (13.5%)

The second question we asked “Let us know what more we can do for you”
139 completed this question and we read through each response and grouped them into subject areas.

Subject Area Qty
Services 79
Appointments 24
Other local health services (Boots, dentists) 8
Healthy eating 8
Prescriptions 7
Event comments 2
Political/outside influences 5
Mental health 4
Doctors / GP practice 2

Breaking down the “Services” subject area, we get:

Services Breakdown Qty
Generic comments (Good service, etc) 39
Practice Specific 13
Better communication 6
Hospitals 6
More local facilities 5
Opening times 5
Chiropody and maternity care 3
Complaints about staff 2

Once the results are complete, the issues raised can be considered and actioned. This will be agreed by the Wallsend practices at the next meeting in July.
